Educational Innovation at the Heart of the Children’s City
Located in the heart of Kiryat Sharet in Holon, the project brings together two complementary educational functions: early childhood kindergartens and the PISGA Center for Teacher Development. The project responds to the city's need for additional kindergarten classrooms while providing a contemporary environment for teacher training, research, and professional development. The main design challenge was to integrate the complex into the surrounding neighborhood while maintaining a clear public presence. The building is organized vertically, with kindergartens on the ground floor, each with separate entrances and outdoor yards, and the PISGA Center on the upper floors, including an auditorium, training rooms, and offices. The white façades are defined by clean lines, vertical louvers, and shaded balconies that reduce solar gain. The result is a bright and welcoming educational environment adapted to contemporary pedagogical needs.
